What to know
A complete trust instrument, amendment, and certification of trust can show different facts to a bank, property office, or adviser.
Include amendments, schedules, certificates of trust, and signature pages.
Trustee, settlor, beneficiary, and power terms should remain consistent without implying an exact Slovak counterpart.
Ask whether a short certificate of trust is acceptable instead of the full instrument.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
State whether the English file is a trust deed or instrument, amendment, restatement, certificate of trust, trustee acceptance, or related schedule. Give the governing jurisdiction, issue and amendment dates, approximate pages, intended Slovak reader, and reason it is being requested. A U.S. common-law trust may not map neatly onto another legal system, so preserve source roles rather than assuming a domestic equivalent.
A California superior court describes a certification of trust as one document a successor trustee may use under that state’s law. That is a specific example, not a rule for another state or Slovak institution. Ask the actual recipient whether it needs a short certification, complete instrument, relevant excerpts, current amendments, signature pages, or proof that a trustee can act. Translate the set it specifies.
Identify settlor, trustee, successor trustee, beneficiary, revocation or amendment language, powers, conditions, and schedules as written. An amendment can change a power or distribution named in the original. Do not silently reconcile inconsistent names or dates, omit an attached restriction, or describe a proposed trustee as currently serving unless the source says so. Counsel should address legal interpretation, ownership, inheritance, and tax questions.
Give jurisdiction, document type, version count, pages, recipient, requested output, formal translation instruction, and deadline. Avoid putting beneficiary names, asset lists, account numbers, or distribution terms into the public quote form. An authorized and appropriate method for reviewing the actual trust file can be arranged after the scope is understood.

We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Only if the receiving organization accepts it for the specific matter. Confirm its document list and relevant jurisdiction.
