Document: HR Policy. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A short policy may depend on a long workflow, local supplement, or employee form that changes what the rule means in practice.
Include definitions, procedures, forms, and revision history.
Eligibility, deadlines, approval authority, and exceptions must remain precise.
Ask HR whether the policy is effective in the target workplace as written.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Identify whether the source concerns leave, remote work, conduct, complaints, safety, expenses, data handling, training, or another subject. State the employer, source and target workplace, intended Slovak readers, approval status, effective date, and version. A draft for management review should not be presented as a policy already in force for employees.
Supply definitions, eligibility criteria, time limits, approval roles, escalation steps, exceptions, referenced legislation or collective agreements, and all related request or acknowledgment forms. Keep role names and dates aligned across the policy and its workflow. If a source paragraph is ambiguous or contradicts another document, flag it for the policy owner rather than silently resolving it in Slovak.
Your Europe explains that information about employment conditions and changes can carry employer duties. The actual obligations depend on the workforce and applicable rules, so HR and legal owners should approve any Slovak-facing policy before rollout. Translating a U.S. or global template does not establish that it applies in a Slovak workplace or replaces employee-specific written terms.
For a quote, give policy topic, word count, appendices and forms, editable files, intended use, reviewer, and deadline. Record the English source version and the owner who will maintain the Slovak copy after revisions. Keep personnel names, individual complaints, medical details, and disciplinary files out of the initial public description.
