Document: Probate Inventory. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
An asset inventory lists property and values at a stated point. It does not by itself prove who inherited an asset or its current value.
Identify court filing status, valuation date, currency, and supporting annexes.
Asset categories, ownership shares, and valuation qualifiers should remain distinct.
Ask whether the recipient also needs a grant of probate or inheritance order.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
State the court or estate jurisdiction, inventory date, valuation date, version, page count, and whether the source was filed with a court, prepared by a representative, or compiled privately. A preliminary list and a final account can differ. Identify amended schedules and annexes before requesting a translation so the Slovak reader sees the version actually relied upon.
List the categories in scope: real estate, bank accounts, investments, business interests, debts, and other property. Translate headings, ownership shares, valuation basis, currency, footnotes, exclusions, and uncertainty as written. A figure at date of death is not necessarily a present market value. Do not convert currencies or treat a listed asset as personally owned by an heir without a separate, agreed analysis.
Your Europe explains that an authority may issue a national document or European Certificate of Succession to prove an heir’s, executor’s, or administrator’s status in a covered EU matter. Slovensko.sk describes separate inheritance decisions for property located in Slovakia. An inventory serves a different evidentiary purpose. Ask the notary, court, bank, or registry whether it needs the asset schedule, the decision or certificate, and any supporting title documents.
If the recipient also requests a European Certificate of Succession, identify it as a separate issued document. The European Commission says its standard form is available in all EU official languages, while the recipient may request a certified translation of a completed certificate. Ask which certificate and language are accepted before including it in the translation scope.
Give the jurisdiction, type of inventory, approximate pages and table rows, attachments, source format, receiving party, and deadline. Do not put account numbers, property addresses, values, or names of beneficiaries into the public quote form. Discuss secure review of the actual schedule after the request is understood.
How it works

Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Not by itself. Ask the receiving authority which succession decision or certificate establishes your status and rights.
A currency conversion needs an agreed date, rate source, and separate scope; faithful translation preserves the source figures and currency.
No. The inventory lists property and values; ask the recipient which issued decision or certificate it needs to establish succession status and whether that separate document needs translation.
