Document: Tax Return. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A prepared return, a filed copy, and an authority transcript are different sources. Translation should follow the record the receiving body actually asks for.
Identify form type, tax year, schedules, signatures, and proof of filing.
Tax categories can differ between systems; preserve the source labels rather than inventing Slovak equivalents.
Ask whether the recipient accepts a return or requires an official tax transcript.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
For U.S. records, the IRS explains that a tax return transcript shows most line items from the original filed Form 1040 series and generally does not show later changes. A tax account transcript shows account information and post-filing changes; a record of account combines return and account information. A complete copy of a filed return with all attachments is a different request. Ask the Slovak recipient which source and tax year it needs rather than assuming these documents are interchangeable.
The return’s main form may refer to schedules, attachments, a spouse’s information, business income, or proof of filing. State the form number, tax year, whether the source is signed or electronically filed, and which schedules the recipient requests. A prepared draft should not be presented in translation as if a tax authority accepted it. If an amended return exists, flag it and ask which version the recipient wants.
Tax labels come from the source jurisdiction and may not map neatly to a Slovak tax category. Translation should preserve line references, currency, negative values, totals, and explanatory notes without converting money, recomputing tax, or offering a legal interpretation. The recipient or qualified tax adviser decides how the figures should be used.
Give the country, record type, tax year, page and schedule count, recipient, output requirement, and deadline. Do not paste taxpayer IDs, income amounts, addresses, or return images into the public quote form. We can discuss a suitable file-review channel once the requested scope is known.
How it works
Tell us what the document is, who needs the Slovak translation, and when you need it. The first form does not require a file.
Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
No. The IRS says the transcript shows most original line items; a complete copy with all attachments is a different record. Ask the recipient which it needs.
It can render a filing notation present in the source, but it cannot independently establish filing status. Obtain the authority record the recipient requests.
