What to know
A management-system certificate, material certificate, inspection certificate, and certificate of analysis cover different subjects and scopes.
Check issuing body, standard number, product batch or site, validity, and annexes.
A certificate of analysis and a management-system certificate make different claims.
Ask the recipient which certificate and scope it requires.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Identify the issuing organization, document title, cited standard and edition, certificate number, issue and expiry dates, entity or site, product or batch when relevant, and intended Slovak reader. Ask whether the recipient means an ISO management-system certificate, laboratory result, inspection release, or a supplier declaration. Translating one type as another can imply a broader assurance than the source provides.
Supply all pages, accredited scope or certified activities, excluded sites, annexes, signatures, accreditation marks, and conditions printed on the record. A certificate may mention a standard but limit certification to specific activities or premises. Keep the exact scope, status wording, and dates visible. If a certificate refers to a test report or material batch, ask whether those supporting records must also be translated.
ISO develops standards but does not issue certification. Keep the external certification body distinct from the accreditation body named on the record. Global ACI has assumed the former IAF and ILAC roles; ISO and Global ACI still link to IAF CertSearch for accredited certification checks. That database is not a substitute for checking other certificate types with their issuer. Translation does not renew a certificate, extend a scope, or prove that a product passed a test.
Do not silently replace an older standard year with the newest edition. Global ACI’s ISO 9001 transition notice says ISO 9001:2026 was published on September 16, 2026, with existing ISO 9001:2015 certifications to transition by September 30, 2029. This does not establish the status of an individual certificate. Keep its actual edition, dates and scope; ask the issuer about current validity and the recipient about acceptance.
State certificate category, issuer country, pages and annexes, language instruction, recipient, output format, and deadline. Do not put private supplier IDs, customer details, batch numbers, or sensitive inspection findings into the public form. Arrange appropriate review of the actual record after confirming permission and scope.
How it works

Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
No. Identify the issuing body, subject, and stated standard or test before ordering a translation.
No. Check status and scope with the issuer, relevant registry, or receiving organization.
No. Translate the edition stated on the certificate. A transition to a new edition requires the relevant certification process, not a change of wording.
