Document: Test Report. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
The headline result cannot be read reliably without the tested item, method, conditions, units, and any stated uncertainty.
Include appendices, calibration references, charts, and signed approval page.
Pass/fail language, uncertainty, units, and test standard citations need precision.
Ask whether the reader needs the complete report or an approved summary.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Give the laboratory or issuer, discipline, report number and revision, tested sample or product, test date, pages, and intended Slovak reader. Say whether the recipient needs the full signed report, a specified section, or an issuer-approved summary. A translated report remains a record of a particular test; it is not a new test carried out on another batch or model.
Include method and standard edition, sample identification, environmental and operating conditions, tables, graphs, pass/fail criteria, deviations, measurement uncertainty when stated, appendices, signatures, and any corrected report. NIST describes uncertainty as part of reporting measured results. Preserve symbols, comparison signs, units, and qualified conclusions; do not turn “not tested” or “inconclusive” into a pass.
Global ACI now carries the former IAF and ILAC roles. Its purchaser guidance directs users to the issuing body and relevant accreditation-body directory to check a report’s coverage. Match the laboratory, activity and current scope; a logo alone does not show that every reported test is accredited. International recognition does not guarantee acceptance by every regulator or buyer. Ask the actual recipient which evidence and translation format it accepts.
ILAC G8 guidance addresses decision rules used for statements of conformity. If the report includes a rule, tolerance limit, uncertainty statement or qualified outcome, translate those together with the conclusion. Preserve the difference between a measured result and a statement that it meets a specification. If the basis is missing or unclear, ask the laboratory or technical owner; a translator should not calculate a new pass/fail decision.
State field, report pages, table and chart density, file quality, recipient, source format, reviewer, and deadline. If the report is confidential, the initial public form should omit test values, sample identifiers, client names, and unpublished findings. Arrange an authorized file-review route after scoping.
How it works
Tell us what the document is, who needs the Slovak translation, and when you need it. The first form does not require a file.
Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Ask the recipient. Method, sample identity, conditions, and limitations may be needed to interpret the result.
No. It conveys the report; product and regulatory decisions require the relevant technical and legal review.
