Document: Service Agreement. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A master agreement may set the rules while a statement of work or order form supplies the actual deliverables and dates.
Include all schedules, order forms, and amendments that are incorporated by reference.
Deliverables, acceptance criteria, liability limits, and deadlines need stable terminology.
Ask whether the recipient needs a signing version or a reading aid.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Tell us whether the English source is a master services agreement, a statement of work, an order form, a service-level schedule, or a complete package. Record its version and date, the parties, the intended Slovak reader, and whether the translation is for review, negotiation, signing, or an internal file. A later amendment can replace the terms in an earlier draft, so identify the version that should be translated.
Service descriptions, deliverables, acceptance tests, fees, change-control procedures, intellectual-property terms, liability limits, and termination rights may be divided among the main text and attachments. An isolated clause may use terms defined elsewhere. List every referenced exhibit and amendment, then ask the recipient whether it needs the whole set or specified sections with their definitions. This makes the scope and quote more reliable.
A translator can preserve a defined term and flag a source ambiguity, but cannot decide which language version governs, change a warranty, or confirm that a clause is enforceable. If the Slovak text will be signed, have the parties and their legal advisers settle any language-precedence clause and review the final bilingual version. The U.S. federal contract format is one example that separates a statement of work from inspection and acceptance; private agreements may be organized differently.
State the document types, approximate page counts, file format, number of tables or annexes, source version, recipient, delivery date, and whether tracked changes are expected. Do not paste prices, personal data, signatures, or contract text into the public quote form. Arrange a suitable file-review method after the initial scope is clear.
How it works
Tell us what the document is, who needs the Slovak translation, and when you need it. The first form does not require a file.
Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Possibly, if the recipient accepts that scope. Include any definitions, service levels, or terms it relies on and identify what will be omitted.
The parties and their legal advisers decide that in the agreement; translation alone does not set precedence.
