Document: Financial Statements. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A balance sheet without its notes, comparative period, or audit context can give a Slovak reader an incomplete picture.
Include balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, notes, and auditor pages as requested.
Accounting terms and period labels need consistent treatment without changing amounts.
Ask whether the recipient requires filed, audited, or management statements.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Tell us whether the English files are management accounts, issued annual financial statements, a filed report, or an audited set. List the entity, reporting periods, page count, source format, intended Slovak reader, and whether there are revised or restated versions. The U.S. SEC explains that a public company filing can contain balance sheets, income and cash-flow statements, equity information, and explanatory notes. Your package may differ, so inventory the pages actually provided.
Headings can distinguish current from non-current items, parent from consolidated figures, and thousands from full currency units. Comparative columns, negative amounts, footnote markers, and accounting-policy notes need to stay tied to the correct figures. Include the notes and any auditor opinion the recipient requests. Translation should not silently change a line item, repair an arithmetic discrepancy, or convert one accounting framework into another.
A Slovak partner or lender may want to understand foreign statements, while a regulator may specify an official record and format. Slovensko.sk describes a Slovak Registry of Financial Statements and Collection of Documents, but that overview does not mean any English statement becomes a compliant filing when translated. Ask the actual recipient whether it needs a filed copy, audit report, certified translation, or only a reading aid.
Give the years, statements included, number of notes and tables, editable spreadsheet or PDF availability, output preference, recipient, and deadline. Do not paste revenue, account numbers, ownership details, or unpublished figures into the public form. Arrange review of the actual documents through an appropriate channel after the project scope is clear.
How it works
Tell us what the document is, who needs the Slovak translation, and when you need it. The first form does not require a file.
Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Ask the recipient. Notes and other statements may explain its figures or be required as part of the set.
No. Accounting conversion or recalculation would need a separate specialist scope and review.
