Document: Maintenance Procedure. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A maintenance instruction may contain safety-critical isolation, inspection, and return-to-service steps that depend on one equipment model.
Include checklists, interval tables, warnings, and revision history.
Parts, torque units, and safety terms must stay consistent across steps.
Ask whether the Slovak output must fit an existing controlled-document format.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Give the machine or product family, model, procedure number, revision, issue date, and intended Slovak technicians. Supply the current manufacturer or process-owner master, relevant service bulletins, checklists, diagrams, and parts list. A procedure for a related model or older configuration may contain different isolation points or torque values, so ask the owner which source governs the actual equipment.
Under Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Annex I section 1.7.4 has a limited exception for maintenance instructions intended for specialized personnel mandated by the manufacturer or its authorized representative: one EU language understood by those personnel may be used. An English-speaking employee or a document headed “Maintenance” does not by itself establish that exception. Ask the manufacturer to confirm the intended personnel and applicable instruction rules before commissioning a Slovak version. For releases around the 2027 machinery transition, have the compliance owner recheck the governing regime.
Translate warnings, required qualifications, shutdown and isolation steps, stored-energy precautions, verification, tools, replacement criteria, measurements, inspection frequency, and return-to-service checks in their original order. For U.S. general-industry equipment within its scope, OSHA’s hazardous-energy rule specifies detailed energy-control procedures; other workplaces may follow different applicable rules. The translation should not invent a lockout method or replace the employer’s approved safety program.
Keep part identifiers, units, torque specifications, control names, diagrams, and exception paths traceable to the approved source. If an instruction conflicts with a service bulletin or illustration, flag it instead of choosing one silently. The equipment or safety owner should check the Slovak steps and document-control status before technicians use them. Translation does not test the machine or certify that the procedure is safe.
State pages, tables and illustrations, editable-file availability, model variants, glossary, reviewer, required layout, and deadline. Specify whether the output is translated text, an updated controlled PDF, or an editable manual. The public quote form should describe equipment and scope without exposing site access instructions, security-sensitive plant details, or proprietary service data.
How it works
Tell us what the document is, who needs the Slovak translation, and when you need it. The first form does not require a file.
Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Only the equipment owner can confirm that the steps and safety controls apply to the other model and configuration.
Have the equipment or safety owner review the localized steps and approve the controlled version first.
