Keep every slide tied to its source figures and audience

Short slide text can depend on speaker notes, chart legends, footnotes, and the oral presentation around it.

01

Source record

Include slides, speaker notes, chart labels, and appendix text.

02

Reader and purpose

Financial figures, product terms, and claims must align across slides.

03

Quote details

Ask whether the output must remain editable in presentation software.

What to check before ordering

These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.

Identify the presentation and its readers

Say whether the deck is for investors, customers, a procurement meeting, a board, or an internal team. Provide the final source version, slide count, target date, intended Slovak audience, and whether the deliverable must remain editable. A deck reused for another audience may need an approved source revision before translation rather than a translator independently changing the proposition.

Scope hidden and visual text

Include title and body copy, chart axes and legends, table headings, speaker notes, appendix slides, captions, image text, and linked material. Mark brand terms, product names, financial units, projections, and any slide that summarizes a longer document. Preserve numbers, dates, comparative periods, and the difference between a reported result and a forecast; refer discrepancies back to the deck owner.

Review meaning and the presentation file

Ask the business owner to check claims, legal or financial caveats, and any target-market wording. Translation communicates the approved source; it does not validate a forecast, offer, or investment statement. W3C notes that text can expand in translation, so short headlines and chart labels should be checked in the actual slide layout. Test the export, fonts, notes, hyperlinks, and presentation mode before delivery.

Send a clear project brief

Give slides and notes count, source format, chart editability, terminology, audience, whether speaker notes need translation, review owner, and deadline. State whether the project needs translated text, a redesigned deck, or both. Do not enter unreleased forecasts, investor names, or confidential financial figures into the public quote form.

Common questions

Answers to common questions before you request a quote.

Are speaker notes included automatically?

List them explicitly. Notes and hidden slides can add substantial content beyond the visible slide count.

Will translation verify the numbers and projections?

No. The deck owner should approve every figure, source, and claim before it is presented.

Have an English document to translate?

Start with a few details. No file upload is needed for the first step.
