Document: Product Catalog. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A catalog can contain hundreds of repeated fields, variant differences, and sales claims that change after the design file is prepared.
Include product list, tables, images with text, and version date.
Model names, dimensions, warranties, and claims must remain consistent with current product data.
Ask whether the client wants a direct translation or marketing adaptation.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
State whether the Slovak version is a downloadable PDF, web catalog, distributor sheet, print edition, or internal sales reference. Identify the product category, model and SKU range, intended readers, publication market, approved source version, and launch date. A catalog for trade buyers may need different context from one shown to consumers, so the business owner should confirm its intended use before translation.
Include descriptions, variant tables, dimensions, units, accessories, images with embedded text, footnotes, availability dates, warranty wording, and linked data sheets. Mark the fields that come from the product database and the words that may be adapted as marketing copy. Preserve model numbers and approved naming conventions, and flag conflicting specifications for the product owner instead of choosing a value in translation.
For consumer marketing in the EU, the European Commission explains that misleading business-to-consumer practices can include untruthful information or omitted material information. A translation should retain conditions and limitations alongside benefits; it cannot verify that a product claim, warranty, or sale term is accurate or allowed in Slovakia. The responsible marketing and compliance teams should approve the Slovak edition.
Give approximate words, item and page counts, tables, source format, editable artwork, target channel, glossary, reviewer, and deadline. W3C notes that translated text may need different space, so allow a final proof of tables and image captions rather than relying on the English layout. Set a version owner for later SKU, price, or specification changes. Do not paste unreleased product data into the public quote form.
How it works

Choose the type and tell us where the translation will be used.
Include the approximate length, deadline, and any instructions from the recipient.
We review the request and may contact you by email if more detail is needed.
