Document: Training Certificate. Include the approximate length, recipient, and deadline if you know them. We’ll review your request and may contact you by email about next steps.
What to know
A certificate may prove attendance, course completion, a passed assessment, or a regulated qualification. These are different claims.
Check the issuing provider, course title, duration, result, and award date.
Acronyms and branded course names may need to stay as issued with explanation.
Ask whether the recipient needs supporting course content or assessment details.
Document guide
These notes help you describe your request. The receiving organization’s current instructions should guide the final requirements.
Record the provider, course title, issue date, total hours, learning format, result, award level, credential number location, and any validity period. A participation certificate should not be translated as proof of competence, and a completed course should not be presented as a professional license. If the source uses a branded course name or unexplained acronym, retain it and request the issuer’s definition when the Slovak reader needs one.
The EU Europass Certificate Supplement describes the purpose, level, learning outcomes, and education system behind a vocational qualification. Europass says this supplement adds information to the official certificate and does not replace it or guarantee recognition. If your training provider can issue a supplement, course outline, or assessment record, ask the recipient whether it needs that supporting context before ordering translation of a short certificate alone. This is especially relevant when the qualification title is unfamiliar abroad.
The Slovak Ministry of Education’s recognition FAQ says a lifelong-learning certificate can evidence a professional qualification without being evidence of formal education. For a regulated profession, it points to the body named in the national regulated-professions database or the body that issues a similar Slovak certificate for recognition. Identify the profession and ask the responsible body which training evidence and translation form it accepts. A translated private course certificate does not itself establish professional eligibility. Preserve any limitation or expiry shown on the source.
State the training field, issuing country and provider, certificate and attachment page counts, recipient, required translation form, and deadline. Do not enter credential numbers, student IDs, grades, or medical training details in the initial public form. Arrange review of the actual source after the scope is clear.

Frequently asked
Answers to common questions before you request a quote.
Only the printed source claim can be translated. If competence was assessed, provide the result or issuer record that says so.
No. Europass says it provides context alongside the official certificate and does not guarantee recognition.
Search the Slovak Ministry of Education’s regulated-professions database for the intended profession, then confirm the required records and translation form with the listed competent authority. A course certificate alone does not confer professional eligibility.
